‘Friday Night Lights’ Announces Major News Ahead of 20th Anniversary

Ahead of its highly anticipated reboot on Peacock, Friday Night Lights is having a reunion that will bring together at least three of the show’s stars, along with its producers.

Who Is Attending the Reunion?

Cast members Kyle Chandler (coach Eric Taylor), Connie Britton (Tami Taylor), and Adrianne Palicki (Tyra Collete) have been confirmed to attend the reunion at the 2026 ATX TV Festival in Austin, Texas.

The festival says more cast and events will be announced for the beloved NBC drama that ran from 2006 to 2011. What’s more, the reunion will also include executive producer/writer David Hudgins, executive producer/director Jeffrey Reiner, co-executive producer/writer Liz Heldens, and consulting producer/writer Kerry Ehrin.

The cast is also being bestowed with the second annual “Texas Made” Award, which “celebrates productions and talent that have created opportunities for TV and film professionals within the state; bolsters Texas as a creative and cultural center; and exemplifies the unique spirit and storytelling opportunities throughout Texas.”

When Is The Reunion?

There’s no exact date yet, but the ATX TV Festival announced on Thursday its first slate of programming for Season 15, which takes place from May 28-31 in Austin.

The festival’s 2026 lineup will also feature a retrospective for Homicide: Life on the Street and Sweet/Vicious.
