Lily Allen just dropped a bombshell on fans in her first album in seven years, West End Girl, through which she rips open her marriage to Stranger Things actor David Harbour.
The former couple tied the knot at the Graceland Wedding Chapel in 2020, but news came in February they were separating, with Lily, 40, later confessing she felt suicidal over the breakdown of their marriage.
The Stranger Things actor, 50, was Lily’s second husband, as she was previously married to Sam Cooper for seven years. Lily was David’s first wife, having previously been engaged to actress Maria Thayer.
However, finding love might be a little trickier for David in the future, after Lily lifted the lid on his alleged behaviour during their marriage, as she accused him of cheating on her, gaslighting, and wondered whether he was a ‘sex addict’.
While Lily claimed to have a level of ‘artistic licence’ in the record’s contents, which she claims are ‘autofictional’, her lyrics are crystal clear and she didn’t exactly beat around the bush.
As Lily seems to have just delivered her most candid work to date, here is a look into the Not Fair hitmaker’s dating history.
Seb Chew (2005-2007)
Lily dated London based DJ Seb Chew for two and a half years but the Not Fair hitmaker called it quits in 2007, telling The Sun: ‘Seb and I aren’t together any more. I split with him a month ago so I’m single now.
‘I’m back on the market and I need to get in practice. I don’t know if I can pull any more.’
Ed Simons (2007-2008)
Lily began dating the Chemical Brothers star late in 2007 and announced they were expecting their first child together in December that year.
However just a month later, the pop star announced she had sadly miscarried the baby.
The couple’s relationship didn’t last and Lily and Ed split in 2008. But she still thought of Ed fondly and told Q Magazine: ‘We still speak two times a week, he texts me all the time, making sure I’m alright.
‘We never were not friends, it just became… difficult. Because there was so much pain associated with everything that happened, for me I just needed to get away, you know?’
Rupert Grint (2008)
Lily was romantically linked to the Harry Potter star briefly in 2008 after they were spotted leaving a restaurant together in London.
Sources at the time revealed the pair met at the Order of the Phoenix premiere the previous year and were ‘texting each other regularly’ after swapping numbers.
The insider continued to the Daily Star: ‘After Lily’s split from Ed [Simons], Rupert offered a shoulder to cry on. Last week they enjoyed a Japanese meal together. They had a really long and intense talk, but also lots of fun, too.
‘They get on really well and he makes her laugh… Rupert drove Lily to the restaurant in his black mini and sheltered her from prying eyes.
‘She is still dealing with the terrible start to the year she’s had to face, losing her baby and splitting with Ed, but these two would really work as a couple.’
Jay Jopling (2009)
The Alfie singer was pictured sharing a passionate smooch with wealthy art dealer Jay Jopling on-board a yacht in St Barts.
A source confirmed to Mail Online that Lily was indeed dating Jay, who separated from his wife of 11 years before hooking up with Lily. However, their whirlwind romance ended just weeks later.

Liam Gallagher (2009)
Lily pretty much created the news story of the year in 2018 when she claimed to have enjoyed a romp with the Oasis rocker on a plane in 2009.
In her memoir, she claimed they slept together on the way to Japan in 2009 for the Fuji Rock Festival after getting drunk mid flight.
However, the singer said she didn’t realise Liam was married until he swore her to secrecy because of ‘Nic’ aka his then-wife Nicole Appleton.
Liam’s never addressed the claims but, it’s now forever immortalised in Lily’s book.
Sam Cooper (2009-2015)
Lily struck up a romance with builder and decorator Sam in 2009 and became pregnant with their first child the following year.
However, the singer experienced complications with the pregnancy and suffered a stillbirth.
Lily opened up about losing her baby boy George on BBC Radio 4’s Woman’s Hour, and said: ‘The hardest thing about that was losing a child, but there were complications with the actual delivery. He was so small he actually got stuck halfway in and halfway out, so to speak, during the delivery.
‘I went into trauma and I don’t think I’ll ever really recover from that.’
She later went on to welcome two children with Sam – daughters Ethel in 2011 and Marnie in 2013.
The couple got engaged during a romantic trip to Bali in 2010 and married the following year in a church wedding in Gloucestershire.
But in 2018, Lily confirmed she and Sam had divorced and were sharing custody of their children.
‘We’re both really friendly, our kids go to school equidistant between our houses, so it works,’ she later told Loose Women.
Meridian Dan (2015-2019)
Lily managed to keep their romance under wraps for a short while but it emerged in court documents – relating to an intruder at her home – that she began dating the MC in 2015.
In 2019, Lily revealed they had split after four years of dating and explained on the How To Fail podcast: ‘I’m single, for the first time since I was about 15. We’ve been broken up for about three weeks.
‘It’s just been bad news after bad news after bad news and I think the fact that I haven’t called him and been like, “Hey, wanna come around for a cuddle?” means that it’s big for me, because ordinarily, when things get difficult, I do need to have somebody around to share those problems.’
