CHATTOOGA COUNTY, Ga. (WJBF) – A 32-year-old Lyerly, Georgia woman has been arrested on charges of Sexual Exploitation of Children and Bestiality following a GBI investigation.
Lillian Hughes was taken into custody on August 5th after GBI agents and the Chattooga County Sheriff’s Office executed a search warrant at her home. She faces 3 felony counts of Sexual Exploitation of Children and 1 count of Bestiality, according to the GBI.
The investigation began in July when the sheriff’s office got a tip about possible possession and distribution of child sexual abuse material. The case was referred to the GBI’s Child Exploitation and Computer Crimes (CEACC) Unit, which is part of the state’s Internet Crimes Against Children Task Force.
Hughes was booked into the Chattooga County Jail.
