Geri Halliwell remains the only Spice Girls star not to have addressed Mel B’s wedding publicly.
All other members of the hit 90s girl band – Victoria Beckham, Mel C, and Emma Bunton – have expressed support and congratulations for their bandmate, whether it be on social media or by attending the ceremony itself.
But as far as Geri is concerned, it’s still radio silence.
Yesterday, Scary Spice, 50, tied the knot with celebrity hairdresser Rory McPhee, to whom she got engaged in 2022.
It was every inch a lavish affair, perhaps somewhat resembling a royal wedding, as a crowd formed outside St Paul’s Cathedral to catch the pop star in her bespoke luxury gown.
The guest list was truly star-studded, with Katherine Ryan, Alan Carr, Gaby Roslin, Cara Delevingne, and Daisy Lowe all on the guest list.

Joining them was Emma, aka Baby Spice, who beamed with pride as she arrived wearing a sweet blush pink dress, accompanied by her partner, Jade Jones, and son, Beau.
And while two other Spice Girls were unable to attend, Posh and Sporty made sure to wish Mel well before her big day.
Taking to Instagram, fashion designer Victoria, who decided not to join the group for their last reunion tour in 2019, wrote: ‘Congratulations @officalmelb @rorymcphee on your special day! I couldn’t be more excited for you both and wish you a lifetime of happiness! kisses xx’
The day before Mel’s wedding, Victoria, who couldn’t make it due to being on holiday, also wrote: ‘Sending love to you @officialmelb! @rorymcphee is a very lucky man! xx’
A source denied that there was an ‘issue’ or a ‘falling out’ causing Victoria to skip the wedding. It was just ‘one of those things’.
They added to the Daily Mail: ‘Victoria has long-standing plans out of the country, and she simply can’t be there.

‘She adores Mel; they get on really well despite their paths going in opposite directions. It’s a real shame.’
Meanwhile, Mel C—full name Melanie Chisholm—said she was ‘gutted’ to miss out on the nuptials.
Sharing a snap from the day, she wrote on Insta to the newlyweds: ‘So so happy for you both and beyond gutted I couldn’t be there. Excited to celebrate with you really soon! Yippee!’
After Mel and Rory posted professional photos from their wedding in London, there were plenty of other celebs flooding the comments to say congratulations, including Paloma Faith, Sofia Vergara, Alexandra Burke, Ayda Field, Heidi Klum, and Terry Crews.
While details on why Geri, 52, opted to skip the wedding are unknown, it’s said that her colourful past with Mel had something to do with it.
The former bandmates were once reportedly unable to be in the same room due to animosity between them and their tendency to fight.

Then, when appearing on Piers Morgan’s Life Stories, Mel added fuel to the fire with her bombshell confession that she and Geri had an intimate relationship during the band’s early days.
It’s believed Geri was upset by the revelation, for which Mel never apologised. Her husband, Christian Horner, was also reportedly livid.
When fellow Spice Girl Victoria had her big 50th birthday bash last year, Mel appeared to want to quash rumours of any bad blood.
Initially, it was reported that her reunion with Geri was frosty, as they had a tense exchange before keeping their distance on the night.
Still, Mel shared group snaps on Insta afterwards, writing: ‘What an amazing girl power weekend with all my girls, i have soooo much love and respect for you ALL #friendshipneverends [sic]’.
After saying ‘I do’ this weekend, Rory became Mel’s third husband. She was previously married to Dutch dancer Jimmy Gulzar in 1998.

Then, in 2007, she wed Stephen Belafonte when they eloped to Las Vegas. The couple parted ways in 2016 when Mel accused him of abuse, which he denied.
Speaking about her now-husband, Rory, Mel previously told Us Weekly: ‘He’s a very confident man, and that, to me, is a man. He makes me feel so safe.’
She later added to Hello! Magazine: ‘For the first time in my life, I’m engaged to a beautiful, honest person who makes me feel protected, nurtured and so loved, and I want to savour that.’
