
A two-year-old girl was repeatedly bitten in the face by a dog in a park.
The toddler was attacked by a small, dark-coloured terrier-like dog in Brookfield Park, Rustington in West Sussex on Sunday at around 3.30pm.
The infant sustained multiple facial injuries, including wounds on her nose, lip and cheek.
No one was seen with the dog at the time of the incident.
Officers are appealing for anyone who witnessed the horrific attack to come forward.
