Girls, 9 and 10, vanish from their homes on Isle of Wight

Police are urgently searching for two young girls who have vanished from their homes.

9-year-old Mia and 10-year-old Olivia, believed to be friends, have not been seen since leaving their homes in the Redbridge area of the Isle of Wight.

There has been no word from them since this morning, Hampshire police said.

Mia is described as white, about 4ft tall, mousey brown hair, blue eyes, a birthmark on her left shoulder and a large mole on her cheek.

Olivia is described as white, about 4ft tall, ginger hair, with a birth mark on her left arm.

A police spokesperson: ‘We believe they will still be in the Redbridge area, but they have links to Totton.’
