GLADIATORS have confirmed that even more famous faces will be signing up to take on the infamous course as the show comes back for another go-around.
The programme will be back for a third full-length series in 2026 as well as a glittery star-studded special.

Father and son duo Bradley and Barney Walsh will be back once more as they return to Sheffield Arena to see which members of the public have what it takes to beat the infamous Gladiators.
But not only that, four more stars will be facing off in a bid to be crowned champion as part of another one-off celebrity special.
The third series will consist of 11 episodes as well as the celebrity edition.
All the Gladiators – Apollo, Athena, Bionic, Comet, Cyclone, Diamond, Dynamite, Electro, Fire, Fury, Giant, Hammer, Legend, Nitro, Phantom, Sabre, Steel, and Viper – will be back as they put on a show for the Sheffield crowds.
Kalpna Patel-Knight, the Head of Entertainment at the BBC, said of the show’s recommission: “Audiences have loved getting together to watch our mighty Gladiators take on contenders from all across the UK, with younger fans especially excited to cheer on their Saturday night superheroes.
“With this brand-new series and another Celebrity Special confirmed there will be even more epic battles, more high-octane action and of course even more foam fingers than ever before for everyone to look forward to!”
Whilst producer Dan Baldwin, the MD of Hungry Bear Media, added: “We have been absolutely blown away by the reception Gladiators has received from families up and down the country.
“It has become a HUGE part of Saturday night viewing on the BBC.
“We are extremely excited to deliver another series, so expect even more spandex, hairspray, protein shakes and fake tan this summer in Sheffield!”

Meet the Gladiators finalists

The Gladiators final takes place on Easter Saturday at 5.30pm on BBC One.
After ten gruelling weeks facing the superhuman Gladiators, four contenders have made it through to the grand final.
The Gladiators 2024 finalists are:
Finlay Anderson – Army officer Finlay, 34, from Edinburgh has made it to the final despite being injured in the quarter-final.
Wesley Male – Even though he joined in the quarter-final stage, part-time Leeds wrestler Wesley, 35, has proved a force to be reckoned with on the Gladiators gauntlet.
Bronte Jones – This 23-year-old firefighter from Sheffield is the youngest contender in the final.
Marie-Louise Nicholson – Hailing from Dublin, Marie-Louise, 28, is a fitness coach who has scored maximum points five times on Gladiators.
