Good news if you are a fan of Emmerdale, as the ITV soap will return to our screens this evening after being off air for almost a week.
It’s been a confusing time for us soap lovers, as coverage of Wimbledon and the UEFA Women’s Euros have turned the usual schedules for EastEnders, Coronation Street and Emmerdale upside down.
One minute you’re sitting down ready for your usual trip to the Dales and the next, you learn that drama in the village is being put on hold for a week.
Honestly, it’s a lot to keep up with – and it sadly isn’t over yet.
There is some positivity on the horizon though, as Emmerdale will air on ITV1 tonight at 7:30pm.
