Government fails agreement and ASPP demands promised fulfillment

On November 28th, in the meeting I participated in at the Ministry of Internal Affairs and in which, for breach of trust relationship by the GovernmentI informed the Minister of the unavailability of ASPP/PSP to continue negotiations, a member of the ministerial team thought it worth highlighting that we were there thanks to the Agreement signed in July 2024.

Something that did not go unnoticed by those present and that is still “interesting”, as I have repeatedly said it and many still today refute it in a “romantic” way, guaranteeing that, even without the Agreement, we would be there.

Without an Agreement, negotiations would not exist! It “continues” under the Agreement. I assume that I did not abandon it and signed it. It is assumed by the previous Government that signed it and the current one that “inherited” it.

Still regarding the meeting in question, there is no doubt that the Government came out of it very badly, as it chose not to discuss the matters to which it committed and which would be essential for improving the conditions of PSP professionals and, consequently, the entire community.

But the Government was not the only actor to fail. Others present there “sinked” in the face of a “non-proposal” presented and the promise of compliance “sine die” with what was established – by not opposing, saying nothing, it led me and certainly the Government to believe that they would remain there and present themselves on the date scheduled for discussion of “nothing”.

But not everything was and is bad. Despite a noticeable disorientation upon realizing the decision taken by the ASPP/PSP, after a year of inconsistencies, the result of a notorious amateurism, these non-conformist “prophets” now have the opportunity to show their work, transforming the ill-fated “crumbs” of others into their much-desired “our daily bread”, thus putting an end to the “dietary restrictions” of the police.

On ASPP/PSP’s part, we went as far as we could and they allowed us to go with the seriousness and responsibility that we are recognized for, achieving something tangible and effective. Now, in conscience, because what was promised is due, in other words, we will demand what is missing.

The Fight Continues!
