Government of Monterrey multiplies deliveries to benefit more women
During an event held on the ground floor of the Municipal Palace, the mayor Adrian de la Garza and his wife, Gaby Oyervidespresident of DIF Monterreydelivered a thousand new cards to women from Monterrey, marking the second delivery of the week.
“We do the Regia Plus Card program with great pleasure, in order to strengthen our city; that card that you have in your hand has a lot of work behind it,” highlighted the municipal president.

De la Garza Santos reiterated that his administration works hard to ensure that support reaches those who need it most.
“Every time with more enthusiasm, with more strength, because it is the commitment that I made with you; we are going to always fulfill it, to the limit, so that Monterrey is better and better,” he expressed.

Eight massive deliveries and an increasing pace
The Secretary of Citizen Participation, Rafa Ramos reported that deliveries will accelerate in the coming weeks.
“There will be many Regia Plus Card deliveries in the very short term, as was the instruction of Mayor Adrián de la Garza,” he noted.

To date, the municipality has carried out eight mass deliveries of the program. The Chief of Staff, Fernando Margáin, also participated in the most recent one; the secretaries of Administration, Marcelo Segovia Páez, and of Human Development and Substantive Equality, Karina Barrón Perales, as well as Ivonne Álvarez, director of the DIF Monterrey; Liliana Muraira, from Social Management; federal representative Anita González and local representative Perla Villarreal.
