Government of Yucatán sends machinery and personnel to affected areas of Poza Rica

MÉRIDA.- The Mayan Renaissance government sent this Thursday a brigade of 57 people and heavy machinery to Poza RicaVeracruz, to join the cleaning, clearing of roads and restoration of basic services in the areas affected by the recent floods registered in the center of the country.

Governor highlights support from Yucatán

He Governor Joaquín Díaz Mena He bid farewell to the contingent representing the Yucatecan people.

Highlighting that this action seeks to provide solidarity and coordinated support with the federal and state authorities to families who are facing difficult times today.

The crew will participate in the rescue of roads, removal of debris and direct attention to affected communitiesas part of the national effort to accelerate the region’s recovery.

“Today we say goodbye with pride and emotion to this brave brigade of women and men who They will carry the heart of Yucatán to Veracruz,” said Díaz Mena.

The Yucatecan delegation is made up of personnel from the Yucatan Highway Infrastructure Institute (Incay) and of the State Coordination of Civil Protection (Procivy).

The machinery shipped includes two front-end loaders, two motor-shaping machines, an excavator, two dump trucks, one motor graderas well as tools such as shovels, pickaxes and wheelbarrows.

Present at the event were the head of the Secretary of Infrastructure for WellbeingAlaine López Briceño; he Director General del IncayÁngel Pérez Medrano; and the local deputy, Julián Bustillos Medina.
