While Glastonbury might be taking a break next year, that doesn’t mean the headliner rumours have paused as Harry Styles’ name crops up.
Fans of the As It Was hitmaker have been treated to him jetsetting around Europe in short shorts, with Zoe Kravitz recently joining him.
The pair sparked romance rumours, locking lips when back in London, but there’s been no hints that he’s heading back to the studio any time soon.
However, he could be taking to Glastonbury’s Pyramid Stage when the festival returns in 2027.
According to The Rest Is Entertainment Podcast, hosted by Richard Osman and Marina Hyde, his team have its sights set on that coveted headline slot.
Discussing the pressure on artists to stay relevant and be ‘always on’, the growing gap between Harry’s album releases was brought up.

Marina said: ‘Everyone’s like “Oh my god, Harry Styles isn’t going to put out a new album, maybe until the year after next”. That used to be quite normal.’
She quoted the speculation and continued: ‘Oh, but they’ve had to really push it even further than they’d like to because they want him to headline Glastonbury that year.’
Richard responded that Harry as a headliner would be ‘fun’, which his co-host agreed with.

A source previously told The Daily Mail that ‘Harry was gutted not to do this year’s Glastonbury Festival’, adding he was ‘near certain to play at the next one’.

Glastonbury rarely confirms acts until a few months before the festival, which takes place in late June each year.
Worthy Farm is taking a fallow year in 2026 to allow the ground to recover but is set to be back in 2027.
As Marina noted on the podcast, artists are urged to ‘stay visible on the streaming platforms’ so they have to ‘keep putting stuff out’.
But Harry, as with other major pop stars, is unlikely to fall into obscurity any time soon, as fans are desperate for his next album.
The insider continued: ‘His next album isn’t finished yet, despite the speculation on some of the fan websites. He’s a perfectionist and wants to make sure the release hits all the right spots.’
