AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF) – The Augusta Coliseum Authority and Oak View Group announce hockey will return to Augusta for the first time in 12 years.
The organization, for now known as Augusta Pro Hockey, will be led by co-owner, Heisman Trophy Winner and 2-time National Champion Tim Tebow.
They’re now looking for community input to decide on a name for the hockey team.
The team will play in the ECHL Developmental Hockey League starting in October 2027.
