Hollyoaks star Jessica Fox has celebrated 20 years on the Channel 4 soap, receiving plenty of love from her co-stars.
Jessica first appeared on our screens as Nancy Osborne in July 2005, with the actress revealing that she was originally only brought in for three episodes.
Taking to Instagram, Jessica reflected on her incredible journey alongside a carousel of pictures from her two decades on the show.
‘6th July 2005. My first episode on Hollyoaks aired,’ she began. ‘Happy 20th anniversary to me!’
She continued: ‘Three episodes that turned into twenty years.
‘If I was to write down all the things Nancy has gone through… 4 weddings, 3 divorces, drug, domestic and sexual abuse, addictions, and even brain damage. Explosions, fights, fires, being buried in more than one bunker and dragging a body through the forest.
‘More tears and loss than anyone should have to deal with and she still has a wicked sense of humour.
‘I love this woman, I’m so proud of her part in the village and in Hollyoaks’s history.
‘On a personal level it’s the greatest rollercoaster. Hollyoaks changed the course of my life and I am forever grateful.’

What else has Jessica Fox been in?
Prior to appearing on Hollyoaks, Jessica made numerous TV and film appearances, including starring as Enid Nightshade in the 1998 TV adaptation of The Worst Witch and voicing the Ghost of Christmas Past in the iconic Christmas film The Muppet Christmas Carol.
She finished by revealing that looking at her first cast card left her feeling ‘so many things’, and that she wished her younger self could see how far she’d come.
The post was met with a lot of love from Jessica’s Hollyoaks co-stars, with Kieron Richardson writing: ‘Happy anniversary to you and our Nancy!!! She can do it all and more. You are amazing Jess.’
’20 years!!!!!! Congratulations my love!!! What a ride!!!! So happy I was there for part of it,’ Ali Bastian added, while Nadine Mulkerrin shared: ‘Officially the most stylish lady in the village!!! Congrats on the milestone Jess.’
