Hollywood producer David Brian Pearce, 42, has been jailed for a whopping 146 years after he was found guilty of a range of s*x crimes and the fatal overdoses of Christy Giles and her friend, Hilda Cabrales-Arzola.
In February, the producer, who has worked on projects such as Tooth and Nail and The Valley of Tears, was found guilty of two counts of first-degree murder via fentanyl overdose. His victims, 24-year-old model Christy Giles and 26-year-old architect Hilda Cabrales-Arzola, had met him at a warehouse party in East Los Angeles back in 2021. They returned to his Beverly Hills apartment with other friends, where he supplied them with Y-Hydroxybutyric acid (GHB) and fentanyl.
Hilda had called for a rideshare within 35 minutes of reaching the apartment, but she was never picked up. Instead, David Brian Pearce and his actor roommate, Brandt Osborn, dropped both women off at separate hospitals a few hours later, the court heard.

After being found guilty back in February, David Brian Pearce was sentenced to 146 years in prison on Wednesday. Deputy District Attorney Seth Carmack told jurors that the producer drugged the women “to facilitate the sexual assault.”
“The defendant is a rapist and now he is a murderer,” he said, as per KNX News.
David’s own lawyer, Jeff Voll, was not surprised by the verdict, given the “overwhelming amount of incriminating evidence” shown in court, but he was shocked the jury did not deadlock.

“Because to believe David Pearce intended to kill Hilda and Christy, you would have to believe he intended to kill (key prosecution witness) Michael Ansbach and there was just no reason, no evidence … because they all got sick off of fentanyl — all of them, and unfortunately two passed,” he added.
At the same time, David Brian Pearce was found guilty of three counts of forcible rape, two counts of sexual penetration by use of force, one count of rape of an unconscious person, and one count of sodomy by use of force. The sexual assault allegations came from seven women between 2007 and 2020.
Meanwhile, the judge declared a mistrial for Brandt Osborn, and he is now awaiting a possible retrial.
