In case you missed it, Harry Styles is officially back. Last week, the pop superstar officially announced his comeback album, Kiss All The Time, Disco, Occasionally. Yesterday, Styles announced the first single from the intriguingly titled album, named Aperture.
The single is set for release on Friday, January 23. However, hardcore harries can hear the new song as early as tonight. The star’s official fan page, HSHQ (Harry Styles Headquarters), has announced a series of upcoming Aperture listening parties, at a selction of chosen record stores in major cities spanning the globe.
How To Get Your Best Chance of Attending an ‘Aperture’ Sneak Peek Listening Party
The most important thing to know about the Aperture listening parties is that most of them appear to announce their location and time at the last minute. You should turn notifications on for HSHQ if you haven’t already, and keep your eyes peeled on social media, especially in Harry fan circles. Instagram is best, since HSHQ, like many companies, no longer uses Twitter/X. Due to the last-minute nature of these events, it’s important to keep checking if the schedule has changed.
HSD (Harry Styles Daily), an unofficial fanpage, does use the app, however. It has a running thread of locations, live as they drop.
So far, confirmed locations include:
- Bondi Records, Sydney, 3-6pm
- Concerto Record Store, Amsterdam, 3-6pm
- Hark Records, Paris, 5-8pm
- Rough Trade, Berlin, 3-6pm
- Rough Trade Below, New York City, 4-8pm
- Phonica Records, London, 6-9pm
All times are according to the local timezone. Rules are subject to location, but the blanket rule appears to be that no phones are allowed inside the listening party. Be sure to follow your nearest location’s social media page, or get in touch with them if you have any queries about queueing, bags, merchandise, or anything else.
