Six months before April’s legislative elections in Hungary, Prime Minister Viktor Orbán’s party is in trouble. Fidesz – which was born as the Alliance of Young Democrats and today calls itself the Hungarian Civic Alliance, maintaining the acronym – finds itself tied, in the polls, with an emerging political force, the Party of Respect and Freedom (Tisza).
