I Tried Sweetgreen’s Limited-Time Garlic Parm Cauliflower Menu—and I Can’t Stop Thinking About It

If you think salads are boring, you haven’t been to Sweetgreen. You’ve got flavor bombs like the Super Green Goddess or the Kale Caesar, but you can also put on a chef’s hat and build your own with the chain’s wide range of flavorful options.

And now, the fast-casual salad chain just dropped its most craveable bowl and plate as part of its limited-time late fall menu. Starting Oct. 28, the star of the show is roasted garlic Parmesan cauliflower with romesco, a smoky, sweet red pepper sauce from Spain.

What’s On the Menu?

I tried all of Sweetgreen’s new fall offerings—the Garlic Parm Cauli Bowl, Chicken Cauli Plate, and Garlic Parm Cauli and Romesco Side—and was pleasantly surprised by the sweet, tangy, and smoky layers in every bite. The new Apple Pomegranate beverage, sweet yet tart, rounded out the meal with a crisp finish.

The Garlic Parm Cauli and Romesco Side is simple but packed with flavor—a hit of roasted garlic, nutty Parmesan, and that bold, smoky romesco sauce made with roasted peppers and tomatoes. The vinegar adds a bright, sharp edge that keeps it sharp. I ended up using the sauce as a dip for the slice of bread that comes with the bowls and plates.

For the Garlic Parm Cauli Bowl and Chicken Cauli Plate, my location was out of garlic breadcrumbs, but the mix of textures was still spot-on. The bowl layers shredded kale over chewy wild rice, creating a hearty base for tender roasted cauliflower, jammy balsamic onions sliced thick enough to reveal bulb-like layers, and thin slices of sweet potato that brought a subtle earthy sweetness.

The Chicken Cauli Plate includes roughly cut roasted chicken that’s juicy and flavorful. What truly ties it all together is the creamy basil dressing—sweet, tangy, and just rich enough to make each bite feel complete. I ordered a medium serving and found it gave the perfect drizzle of creaminess without overpowering the roasted notes.

Overall, Sweetgreen’s late fall menu is layered, filling, and unexpectedly comforting. Each dish tastes fresh, with enough variety in flavors to keep every bite interesting. For the price, you get generous portions and that signature Sweetgreen balance of freshness and heartiness. I’ll definitely be ordering again before it’s gone on Dec. 28.
