IHOP Reveals Major Menu Change—Here’s What’s On It

International House of Pancakes, affectionately known as IHOP, known for their buttermilk short stacks, fluffy omelets and crispy hashbrowns, is launching a new menu. In a bold move, the chain is now offering a Value Menu, where each item costs just $6 ($7 in some locations). The 4 menu items are available every day from 7am to 10pm at participating restaurants.

IHOP’s President, Lawrence Kim, stated “at IHOP, we believe great food should be accessible to everyone, every day”, as reported by Restaurant News. They want to be known for affordability while still offering dishes their fans and customers know and love. And while some people may wonder if a value menu equals skimped portions, it appears the combos on the new menu are anything but.

The Value Menu is also part of IHOP’s “Happy Plates” campaign, which is designed to sell the restaurant chain as “whimsical” and “family-friendly”, with hopes to bring in younger customers, keeping the restaurant going after being in business for 67 years.

To see if the new menu is available near you, visit IHOP’s website. I don’t know about you, but all this talk about short stacks and fluffy eggs has me hungry for a $6 breakfast, so I’ll definitely be checking.
