A huge fire has wiped out the main stage of Tomorrowland, just two days before the festival was set to take place. The Belgium festival was set to start this weekend, with David Guetta among its headliners.
However, footage now shows a huge fire that has totally engulfed the main stage at the Tomorrowland site. The fire started on Wednesday (16th). Over 100k people travel to the event, that takes place across two weekends.
Among the performers for this year are David Guetta, Swedish House Mafia, Eric Prydz and Alok. Pictures show the main stage area has been completely gutted. Smoke could be seen all around the surrounding areas. Videos have been shared to Twitter, showing the fire as it was happening.

It’s been confirmed there were no injuries from the fire, but Tomorrowland bosses said they are “devastated” by what has happened.
Tomorrowland has posted a statement and said despite the fire, more updates about the festival will follow. It indicated that right now, all efforts are being made to make sure it won’t be cancelled. “It’s impossible to put into words what we’re feeling,” a post on its website stated.

The statement continued: “The Orbyz Mainstage of Tomorrowland Belgium 2025, a creation born from pure passion, imagination, and dedication, is no more. This wasn’t just a stage. It was a living, breathing world. From the very first sketch on a blank page, to countless hours of conceptual design, artistic collaboration, engineering, crafting, building, every single piece of Orbyz carried part of our soul.
“But, we hold on to the magic Orbyz gave us. To the dreams it carried. To the team who gave their all. We spent the night working on possible solutions for the Mainstage area. No other parts of the festival venue, stages or areas were impacted.”
