Mexico City, October 21 (However).- The Sdeputy director of the Municipal Police of Indaparapeo, Michoacan, Victor Manuel Velazquez Castillowas killed by an attack with firearm this Tuesday while driving his vehicle.
“We have initiated an investigation into the homicide of the Deputy Director of the Municipal Police of Indaparapeo, Víctor Manuel Velázquez Castillo, which occurred this day on the road to Queréndaro,” indicated the State Attorney General’s Office (FGE) of Michoacán.
According to the FGE, after the shift change, Víctor Manuel Velázquez Castillo was heading home in his private vehicle when he was attacked with gunshots.
The homicide occurs one day after Bernardo Bravo, a leader of the lemon producers in that region, was killed in the region allegedly by the criminal cell “Los Blancos de Troya”, a group allied with “Los Viagras” and the Jalisco New Generation Cartel (CJNG).
