Around 200 motorsports fans gathered at the Indujal Industrial Park to enjoy Slalom Porsche, an adrenaline-filled event in which they could watch skilled drivers speeding through an irregular circuit with curves, straights, returns and cones.
The track design was created by Enzo Goikoetxea, a driver famous for having been a finalist in the 2016 Nissan GT Academy and for being a participant in the Carrera Panamericana.
A month before this sporting event took place, expert pilots came to Guadalajara to meet with Juan Mendoza, general director of the Indujal Industrial Park, and review the layout and characteristics of the venue.
Among the Porsche cars that competed were models GT3 RS, GT4 RS, 718, 911 Carrera and Boxster. All participant times were timed by computer and transponder motion sensors.
In addition to being excited about the slalom, spectators were able to watch the Mexico City Grand Prix on special screens; They admired a beautiful display of classic Porsche cars, and enjoyed music, Mexican snacks, hot dogs and popsicles.
This first edition of Slalom Porsche was taken care of in every aspect, and, as part of its security measures, it had the assistance of paramedics.
