An influencer was found with her throat slit outside of a cinema with a warning posted to her fans.
Irene Gu was leaving a car park when her vehicle was suddenly blocked by her boyfriend in Taipei, Taiwan.
The pair argued and her boyfriend, surnamed Liu, dragged the 23-year-old into a stairwell and slit her throat.
The suspect then reportedly fled to his granddad’s house before being arrested by police yesterday morning.
He confessed to killing Irene, but claimed he wanted to get back £10,000 he supposedly leant her during their relationship.
The pair worked together at a nightclub with Irene working as a public relations officer and he working as a security guard.
Irene also had 30,000 followers on Instagram, and left her banking job to work in PR so she could have the same schedule as him.

She only met him after her mum persuaded her to go clubbing one night to see more of the world.
In May, Irene filed a complaint for assault against Liu as well as applying for a protective order.
But he failed to appear in court, and in the days leading up to her death, Irene posted: ‘If you hit me, I’ll go to the police, right?’
In another post, she wrote: ‘Someone asked me why don’t I just block him?
‘Because he’ll find me, he even asked my colleagues if I was at work, disturbing my co-workers.
‘Most importantly, I don’t owe him money!’
The investigation into her murder continues.
