Raymond Harper was a Washington D.C.-based influencer who went by the name “Rolling Ray.”
Zeus Network, where the influencer appeared on multiple shows, has now confirmed that Harper is dead at the age of 28. How did Rolling Ray die? The cause of death is unclear.
Rolling Ray was known for appearing on shows including MTV’s Catfish: Trolls, Divorce Court, and Bobby I Love You, Purrr, according to Fox 5.
The network posted a tribute to the influencer.

The Zeus Network posted the tribute to Harper on Instagram.

The network gave Harper’s date of death as Sept. 3, 2025.
According to Fox 5, Rolling Ray’s mom, Sazola Nay, also confirmed the death on her private Facebook account.
“It is with a heavy heavy heart that I let you know that my son Ray Ray iamrollingray has gone home to be with the Lord…I thank everyone who has called or texted, this is going to be a long road,” her post read, according to the station.
Rolling Ray’s mom also confirmed to TMZthat the influencer has died. TMZ gave Harper’s full name as Juan “Raymond” Harper.
Fans Offered Tributes to ‘Rolling Ray’ as News of His Death Spread
On Instagram, where Harper had almost half a million followers, he described himself as “the most famous boy inna wheelchair.”
“Executive producer of the Zeus hit show Bobby I Love U Purrr!!!” his profile says.
Fans also offered tributes to Rolling Ray.
“Truly a superstar & he helped create one of the best shows on the network purrr,” a fan wrote on the network’s Instagram page.
