In Vietnam, the agricultural innovation startup competition has reached a new phase, with 112 projects reaching the semi-finals. This event, organized by Ho Chi Minh City High-Tech Agricultural Park, aims to promote digital transformation in agriculture. The participating projects focus on innovative solutions in areas such as biotechnology, automation and artificial intelligence.
The competition, held over four days both in Ho Chi Minh City and online, attracts a wide range of participants including students, individuals and startups. The projects are divided into two groups: Group A includes 85 projects from students, while Group B includes 135 projects from individuals and startup groups. This diversity demonstrates the wide range of ideas and approaches that can contribute to promoting sustainable agricultural development.
A central criterion for evaluating projects is the market relevance of the proposed solutions. The jury attaches particular importance to the competitive advantage, economic viability and social impact of the projects. These factors are crucial to recognize the potential of startups that could become market leaders in the future. The competition not only offers a platform for presenting ideas, but also opportunities for further training and networking with scientists, companies and investors.
Particularly outstanding projects have the opportunity to be supported in the High-Tech Agricultural Park of Ho Chi Minh City. This support includes inclusion in city and central government funding programs and projects. The event highlights the importance of digital transformation in agriculture and shows how innovative technologies can help solve global challenges.
