It’s official: Take That have announced an 11-date UK tour that will see them bring back The Circus Live for the first time in 15 years.

The 90s boyband, who broke up in 1996 before returning full-time in 2005, are getting back on the road less than a year after their previous worldwide tour.

After coming back with The Ultimate Tour in 2006, Gary Barlow, Howard Donald, Jason Orange, and Mark Owen launched The Circus Live tour to accompany their 2008 album of the same name.

In 2009, Mark was part of the hugely profitable Circus Live tour that became the fastest-selling concert series of all time, with 600,000 tickets being snapped up in less than five hours.

These days, Take That only consists of Gary, Howard, and Mark, with Robbie Williams and Jason Orange no longer involved in the pop group.

Along with Gary and Howard, Mark Owen is among the longest-serving member of Take That – here’s everything you need to know about his private life.

How old is Mark Owen?

Take That member Mark Owen is 53, having celebrated his 53rd birthday in January – his birthday comes at the end of the month, on the 27th.

Born in 1972, Mark grew up in a council house with his family in Oldham, Greater Manchester, and showed more interest in football at a young age.

Mark was 18 years old when he left his job at Barclays bank to join Take That after successfully auditioning to join the group, managed by Nigel Martin-Smith.

When the group split, Mark was 24 years old, and began his solo career at the same time – he landed three top 10 singles in the UK between 1996 and 2003.

At the point of Take That’s return, Mark had just turned 33, and was a year older when the group’s song Shine – with Mark on lead vocals – topped the UK charts.

Is Mark Own still married?

In 2009, during the original Circus Live tour, Mark Owen married his wife Emma Ferguson – an actress best known for her work on BBC drama Doctors and Sky drama Mile High.

Mark and Emma had been in a relationship for five years by the time they were married, with Mark aged 32 and Emma aged 29 on their wedding day.

They got engaged in 2006 – the same year as Take That’s Ultimate tour and comeback singles Patience and Shine – and were married in November 2009.

Shortly after tying the knot, Mark publicly confessed to several affairs and to his substance abuse issues, and entered a rehabilitation facility six months later.

In a statement at the time, he said: ‘I’m so deeply sorry for the pain my actions have caused my family and friends. I’d like to ask the media to please respect the privacy of my [family] during this difficult time.’

Since then, the couple have presumably worked through their issues and remain married, now approaching their 16th wedding anniversary.

Mark Owen and Emma Ferguson welcomed their first child together – a son, Elwood Jack – in 2006. It won’t be long now until Elwood is 20 years old.

In 2008, a year before they were married, the couple welcomed their second child – a daughter named Willow Rose, who recently celebrated her 17th birthday.

Four years later, in 2012, Mark and Emma welcomed Fox India into the world, with their second daughter and third child having just turned 13.

Mark, Emma, Elwood, Willow, and Fox were all forced to evacuate their home during the January 2025 LA wildfires, which destroyed nearly 20,000 houses.

Of the members still in Take That, reports have suggested that out of Gary, Mark, and Howard, Gary has the highest net worth – standing at an estimated £147m as of 2025.

Gary was Take That’s lead songwriter and remains as such more than 30 years from their formation, and has also forged a successful solo career, landing three UK number ones.

Meanwhile, Howard has an estimated net worth of just over £25m – while he didn’t have much of a solo career, being part of the biggest British boyband of the last 30 years will have made him financially comfortable.

Mark’s estimated net worth will have been boosted in comparison to Howard’s by having a moderately successful solo career in the late 90s and early 2000s.

His net worth stands at around £45m, according to reports.

As for the classic members of Take That who are no longer with the group, Jason Orange’s net worth has been estimated to be between £25m and £35m.

The big bucks surely belong to Robbie Williams, however, who was part of the group during their most successful period in the 1990s and then had a major pop and TV career thereafter.

His net worth is estimated to be over £200m, with some sources claiming that it could be as high as £300m.
