Both sets of players will wear black armbands in memory of Jota and Silva.
Preston have created a commemorative edition of the matchday programme that features written tributes to the two footballers and will lay a wreath alongside the away supporters.
Just before kick-off, they’ll be a rendition of Liverpool’s famous anthem You’ll Never Walk Alone, before a minute’s silence is held, while digital tributes will be displayed on the screen and across pitchside LEDs.
Liverpool retire Diogo Jota’s No.20 shirt
On Friday, Liverpool confirmed that their No.20 shirt, which Jota had worn his entire Anfield career, would be retired in memory of the Portugal international:
‘After consultation with his wife, Rute, and family, the club can announce the squad number will be retired in honour and memory of Diogo across all levels, including LFC Women and Academy.
‘The move is recognition of not only the immeasurable contribution our lad from Portugal made to the Reds’ on-pitch successes over the last five years, but also the profound personal impact he had on his teammates, colleagues and supporters and the everlasting connections he built with them.’

Harvey Elliott and Tyler Morton are not likely to feature having been given extended time off after winning the U21 Euros with England earlier this summer.
Highly-rated young midfielder Stefan Bajcetic has also been ruled out after recently undergoing surgery to mend a hamstring injury.
The match could see the unofficial debuts of Liverpool’s summer arrivals including Florian Wirtz, Jeremie Frimpong, Giorgi Mamardashvili, Milos Kerkez.
