After another dramatic banishment on Wednesday’s episode of The Traitors, fans reckon they might have spotted evidence of another twist.

It’s not the first time we’ve had convincing sounding fan-led theories this series, especially following format shake-ups such as Fiona’s secret Traitor role and the Faithful getting the chance to question Traitors in the confessional booth.
But following the latest contestant exit, which saw Harriet banished from the castle after a heated roundtable where she challenged her fellow players to call her bluff, a big potential clue has been flagged.
As is protocol, Harriet then appeared on companion show The Traitors: Uncloaked to discuss the episode, alongside guests Maddy Smedley from season one and Celebrity Traitors star Clare Balding.
She was also filmed finding out the identities of the Traitors, where a detail in the scene was spotted by an eagle-eyed fan.
‘What is this second envelope which keeps appearing on #TheTraitors Uncloaked?!’ asked Nicola Austin on X, drawing a red circle around the other envelope that remained on the table after Harriet had opened the one telling her who the Traitors were.

The camera also lingered for a moment on the second letter as she picked up the initial envelope, but didn’t go back to it afterwards, which does suggest it’s been put there for a reason that will be uncovered at a later date.
It’s also not the first time major twists have been flagged by viewers of Uncloaked after fans started to spot a pattern in the show’s guests that closely aligned with who had been banished or murdered on the episode being discussed.
Although it shouldn’t be too much of an issue when Uncloaked airs after the episode of The Traitors it’s discussing, guests for the show are announced in advance – including sometimes by host Ed Gamble at the end of the previous Uncloaked instalment.
During Wednesday’s episode crime writer and former barrister Harriet, 52, revealed what she does for the first time, as she went head to head with Rachel, who is a Traitor – which Harriet was on to.
After receiving the most votes from her fellow contestants who believed she was a Traitor, she revealed that she was, in fact, a faithful.
As she left, Harriet said: ‘It’s a kamikaze move, I appreciate that, but I wanted to ensure you all knew who I really was.
‘It seems to me that this is the only way I can get rid of any doubt over what I’ve said. I’ve given you the names, do not let this sacrifice be in vain. I am and have always been, a faithful.’
Following her exit, traitors Rachel and Stephen were visited by presenter Claudia Winkleman in the turret, where they were told they can murder or seduce another player.
The Traitors continues tonight on BBC1 at 9pm.
