DownDetector data shows a sharp rise in PayPal and Venmo issue reports nationwide. For PayPal, roughly 85% of the reported problems involve log-in failures, leaving users unable to access accounts or complete transactions.
Many consumers say they receive the message “unable to complete request” when trying to log in, preventing access to their funds. The outage appears to be ongoing as reports continue to increase, as per a report by The Express.
On the Downdetector page there, people also shared their concerns. “Not working error message !!,” a person said. “It’s been completely offline for 20 mins,” another remarked.
Consumers expressed dissatisfaction over their inability to log in and view their balance. They also expressed dissatisfaction over the inability to withdraw funds from their accounts, which prevented many from doing so.
