Israel targets a jihad activist in the central Gaza Strip news

The Israeli occupation army announced the assassination of an activist from the Islamic Jihad movement, with an air strike targeting the Nuseirat camp in the central Gaza Strip.

The army spokesman said, “Drones precisely attacked an Islamic Jihad member who planned to carry out a terrorist plot in the near future.”

Medical sources reported that 4 people injured as a result of the targeting arrived at Al Awda Hospital, in Nuseirat Camp, and the condition of one of them was described as very serious.

The Israeli army added that the Southern Command is still deployed in accordance with the formula of the ceasefire agreement and is working to “remove any immediate threat.”

This is the first time that the Israeli army has announced the targeting of members of the Palestinian resistance since the truce came into force, after the violent raids launched by the Israeli army on the Gaza Strip last Sunday, which resulted in the death of dozens of martyrs, in the largest violation of the cessation of war agreement concluded on the ninth of this month.

This morning, two Palestinians were injured when the occupation bombed a civilian vehicle in Bani Suhaila, east of Khan Yunis, in the southern Gaza Strip.

In another context, the Civil Defense in Gaza reported casualties as a result of the collapse of a building on the verge of collapse in the Al-Sabra neighborhood, south of Gaza City.

Medical sources said that the accident led to the death of a girl and the injury of three others.

The Palestinian Ministry of Health in Gaza announced the death of 93 Palestinians in the Strip since the ceasefire on October 11, in addition to the recovery of 464 martyrs from under the rubble.
