The Married at First Sight 2025 cast have begun rearing their heads for the latest season of the despicable, toxic chaos that is MAFS. We are so back baby, and the pressure is on more than ever for it to absolutely slap after what has been such a great year for Love Island. There was a time over the last few years where MAFS UK was clearing Love Island with ease, but with Love Island back at full throttle the pressure is well and truly on for this 2025 cast to smash it. Now the whole lot of them have dropped, here’s my rundown of brutal first impressions of the brides and grooms making up the cast of MAFS UK 2025.
Surely, ANYTHING can be better than last year’s at this point.
Anita

54 year old Anita has been through hell and back – losing her mother, her job and ending a 17 year long relationship in the space of six weeks. Horrendous. She’s now just taking on everything that comes at her and has got a new joie de vivre. Put simply, I’d come out to her.
Grace

Has the energy of a soothing English teacher who you could bond with over fondness of Taylor Swift lyrics.
Julia-Ruth

I feel like meeting Julia-Ruth in the smoking area of a club would change the trajectory of my life forever. A lovely warmth is emanating, and I think I’m quite obsessed with the double barrelled name Julia-Ruth. First names that have never been put together before are getting put together. And I think that’s beautiful.
Leah

Historically I have never had anything negative to say about a Scouse lesbian in a suit. I do not see this changing. Don’t let me down, Leah.

My first impression here, and I have to be honest, is that she really reminds me of Sonia from Gavin and Stacey. The evil one that Smithy nearly married instead of Nessa. I’m sure Leigh is nothing like Sonia but visually this is all I’m taking away here. Please someone tell me you know what I mean!?

This diva. The way I knew from looking at her she was from Newcastle and she literally is. She also really looks like forgotten The X Factor icon Ruth Lorenzo. I must applaud that.

Put your foot down, lad. Her looks chuffed to be here though, so I can’t knock him.

The first feeling I get looking at this image is I feel like I’ve been cornered on an all inclusive holiday to Tenerife in 2008. I’m in the hotel bar at about 8pm hearing the entertainment singing My Way. Funnily enough, I just dug deeper and he’s a stand up comedian and “cruise shop host”. I knew it. Viva la Benidorm!
