The capital’s Health Secretariat reported the death of victim number 32 resulting from the explosion of a gas pipe on the Concordia Bridge in the Iztapalapa mayor’s office.
This is Tiffany Cano González, daughter of Misael Cano Rodríguez, who was a worker in the urban image area of the Iztapalapa mayor’s office, and who also died as a result of said explosion recorded on September 10.

The 17-year-old girl had been admitted to the National Rehabilitation Institute, for more than a month. His son, Isaí Santiago, remains under medical care at the Tacubaya Hospital.
On the day of the accident, Misael Cano was traveling in a car with his daughter Tiffany and his grandson Isaí, when the fire reached them. According to the family, Misael had burns on 100% of his body and was taken to the National Rehabilitation Institute, where he died hours later.
One month and 11 days after the pipe explosion, the Ministry of Health reported that a total of 32 people died, 5 remain hospitalized (two of them minors) and 47 have been discharged.

Among the people who lost their lives due to this tragedy is the pipe driver, Fernando Soto; and Alicia Matías Teodoro, who is remembered as the “grandmother heroine” for having saved her granddaughter, who is currently in the United States receiving specialized care.
