Now, Paul is preparing to fight Julio Cesar Chavez this weekend.
But he has been getting ready in idyllic surroundings after splashing the cash on a luxury ranch.
Paul spent £29m on a historic plantation in Georgia – his prize money for beating Tyson.
The stunning ranch covers 5,746 acres and huge ponds, lakes and creeks.
Paul’s purchase is one of the biggest private land sales in the history of Georgia.
And his ranch has been described as “the land ownership equivalent to owning an NFL team.”

He told DAZN: “I would say Chavz is most likely going to be the toughest opponent, the most experience, literally the most amount of fights out of all my opponents.
“He’s a former world champion, which I haven’t faced other than Mike Tyson but he was older.
“Chavez is still in his thirties so this is going to be the toughest one.”

Paul will face Julio Cesar Chavez Jr, a highly-decorated former world middleweight champion.
