Jake Paul Promises Viral Knockout in Gervonta Davis Boxing Match

Jake Paul has gone from YouTube star to pro boxer with surprising deft, although not without his share of controversies. Now, he’s getting ready for a fight with another one of the sport’s biggest stars: Gervonta ‘Tank’ Davis. And he’s sounding very confident, at least according to a new TMZ interview, where Paul pledged he will deliver on the hype.

Paul Makes Knockout Pledge

During the interview, Paul reflected on the challenge he faces.

“I know this is my toughest fight. He’s undefeated, highly skilled, most experienced fighter I’ve fought. Top five, pound-for-pound,” Paul said. “So I have to have the best version of myself. I know how strong he is. I believe I’m stronger and more athletic, that’s pretty much my advantage going into the fight, but he has every other advantage. So I’m locked in, fully focused, feeling amazing already and just going to put on a performance and have the biggest fight of 2025.”

After being asked whether he was just focused on “surviving” 10 rounds in the ring with Davis, Paul delivered his headline-grabbing pledge.

“Tank is gonna be the one surviving,” he said. “I’m going to knock this guy out and probably create one of the most viral knockouts in the history of boxing.”

When to Watch the Fight

The Jake Paul vs. Gervonta Davis fight will go down on Friday, November 14 at the Kesaya Center in Miami. It will stream live globally on Netflix.

Jake Paul and Gervonta Davis’ Boxing Records

Paul currently stands at 12 wins and one loss in his boxing career. Davis has 30 wins and one draw to his name. November’s fight has been deemed an exhibition match, meaning it will not impact their professional records. The match has drawn scrutiny for its rules, including a significant weight difference between the two competitors.
