Even ahead of the release of what’s become DC Studios’ most impressive film in years, Superman, director James Gunn would tease small bits and pieces about the film. However, when it comes to Season 2 of the popular HBO Max series Peacemaker, Gunn isn’t letting anything go regarding the final three episodes.
Gunn recently spoke about Peacemaker Season 2, which he admitted will set up the “rest of the DCU,” as The Hollywood Reporter detailed. However, in regard to those final three episodes, Gunn admitted they might be “my favorite things I’ve ever done, of all time.”
James Gunn Won’t Even Let Publicist See ‘Peacemaker’ Season 2’s Final 3 Episodes
While speaking with Phase Hero’s Brandon Davis, Gunn was adamant about avoiding spoilers from the final three episodes of the upcoming return of Peacemaker.
“It could mean one of two things. It could mean [the last three episodes] are terrible, or it could mean that there’s a lot of major twists and turns in the last three episodes…,” Gunn said of only sending out the first five episodes to people.
“…I really don’t want what’s in those last three episodes to be spoiled, so I’m keeping them close to the chest,” Gunn added. “I won’t even let my publicist see them…But I will also say that [episodes] six and eight—maybe my favorite things I’ve ever done, like of all time.”
#Peacemaker gets a great start with the first five episodes of Season 2 but @JamesGunn won’t send the final episodes out early.

That’s a big statement from Gunn regarding the sixth and eighth episodes of Peacemaker Season 2 being some of his favorite work of all-time. The twists and turns aspect should draw plenty of attention, especially considering his prior comments about Season 2.
