Jamie Laing has revealed he is not a fan of a completely understandable house rule implemented by his wife Sophie Habboo.
The couple, aged 36 and 30, announced in June they are set to become parents.
Since then, they’ve been sharing details of their preparations, however they’ve been brutally honest at times about the challenges they’ve faced too, with Jamie even going so far as to admit his wife’s pregnancy hormones were becoming ‘unbearable’.
The couple have also just moved into a new home, with Sophie making sure things are kept in order before the arrival of their first child.
But Jamie has made it clear he’s not in support of one directive.
Speaking on his BBC Radio 1 show on Wednesday, he said: ‘I tell you one thing that is actually quite weird, we just moved into a new house, very exciting, and my wife, who is pregnant, has this new rule in the house.
‘I tell you what, I will vent on the radio. I hate it. She is not going to be listening.
‘I really don’t like it, and I pretend at home that I like it, but I don’t.
He went on: ‘The rule is this, I have outdoor clothes and indoor clothes.
‘So when I go out the house, I have to wear my outdoor clothes and when I come back in the house, I have to change into my indoor clothes so I don’t make anything messy.
‘One time she caught me like a rat running upstairs in my outside clothes.’
When questioned by his co-host Katie Thistleton about the logistics, he explained: ‘I come in and I get naked.’
She seemed to agree with Jamie’s confusion, adding: ‘Let’s blame the hormones.’
Clearly nervous he might be in trouble by sharing Sophie’s new rule, he tried to cover himself.
‘I am scared if she is listening. I just want everyone to know I love, love wearing indoor clothes,’ he joked.
Despite his statement about wanting to stay in his clothes, Jamie was caught out the other week when his wife accidentally posted a full-frontal image of him on social media.
When sharing a series of images to mark the Bank Holiday weekend, Sophie posted photos from a weekend away including her exposed growing belly visible as she stood in a field.
However, another image showed Jamie standing in their bedroom, hands on hips looking outside through glass doors, with his bare bum on show.
Many people quickly noticed a reflection on the glass which exposed Jamie and sharing their shock in the comments.
Although Sophie didn’t comment on her mistake, she quickly deleted the snap.
