Jarrett Stidham & Wife Kennedy Stidham Had a Life Change Before Broncos-Patriots

Denver Broncos quarterback Jarrett Stidham and his wife Kennedy Stidham are in the spotlight, because on Sunday, Jan. 25, Jarrett is serving as the starting quarterback for the Broncos in the AFC Championship game.

Stidham has been in the NFL since originally being drafted by the New England Patriots in 2019. He was drafted in the fourth round of the NFL draft with the 133rd overall pick, according to NFL research. Now, it’s somewhat ironic that he’s going u against his former team, the Patriots, in the AFC Championship.

Just months before Jarrett and Kennedy were thrust into the spotlight, they had a life change.

The two welcomed their third child, a baby girl named Nella Jay, in October 2025. Little did they know at the time that just a few months later, Jarrett would be staring in the most important game of the Broncos’ 2025-26 season.

On Jan. 20, Kennedy supported her husband at Empower Field at Mile High and shared some photos on social media. “One more time at mile high,” she captioned the post.

Tom Brady Praises Denver Broncos Quarterback Jarrett Stidham

Ahead of the AFC Championship, plenty of people in the sports world are talking about Jarrett Stidham and how he’ll handle the pressure. He has a fan in former NFL quarterback Tom Brady.

“I’ve always loved Stiddy,” Brady said during an appearance on NFL on Fox. “He’s a very natural passer of the football. Very competitive, very smart. He’s got sneaky good athleticism. He’s performed well out there when he’s gotten opportunities.”

Brady added, “It’s tough losing Bo Nix. That’s a brutal injury, certainly at that stage of the game, at this stage of the season. But, at the same time, Stiddy’s got a lot of ability. There’s a reason why he’s been on this club, and there’s a reason why Sean Payton has a lot of confidence in him.”

So, in the end, Brady says about the signal-caller, “I wouldn’t sleep on him at all. He’s proven he can make NFL-caliber throws, lead teams to victories by playing good football and not turning the ball over.”

Stidham has only had four snaps this season, including three handoffs and a kneel down in the team’s 44-24 win over the Dallas Cowboys in Week 8. The last time he started in a game in the NFL was in Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season.
