Well gals, part of Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding invite has leaked, and people are absolutely roasting it.
ABC got their paws on a portion of the invitation that was sent out to the 250(ish) celebrity guests. The card tells guests not to bring presents. It then draws lots of attention to various organisations which Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez have donated money to, out of the kindness of their hearts or whatever.
The invite reads: “We are excited for you to join us! We have one early request: please, no gifts.
“Instead, we’re making contributions in your honour and with gratitude to you for making the journey to celebrate with us in Venice.
“Donations on your behalf are being made to the UNESCO Venice Office to safeguard this city’s irreplaceable cultural heritage, to CORILA to restore the vital lagoon habitats that protect Venice’s future, and to Venice International University to support research and education for sustainable solutions.
“This magical place has gifted us unforgettable memories. Out hope is that through these efforts and by you joining us, Venice will continue to inspire wonder for generations to come.”

The card also features several illustrations. Each picture would have looked cute on a invitation to a seven-year-old’s birthday party, but the images are jumbled together in a pretty strange way. Like, what bird produces feathers larger than the Rialto Bridge? How did the butterflies get so lost among all those shooting stars?
Unsurprisingly, the people are not impressed and have been dragging Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez’s wedding invite all over the internet.
“No way this is real. I could have chosen better clip art,” Someone wrote on X.
“Just shows you money can’t buy taste, even at this level.”
“Graphic designer’s opinion: It looks like Lauren saved some of Jeff’s money and had her bestie’s cousin’s 14-year-old daughter design these on Canva. This weird half-greyscale is not it.”
Some people have theorised a small child or family member might have designed this card. Or perhaps Jeff Bezos himself got creative on Microsoft PowerPoint? Who knows.
Others have questioned why Jeff Bezos and Lauren Sanchez would spend money on cards to tell their celebrity guests about all the money they’ve apparently donated to charitable causes.
“With all the beautiful images of Venice, this is the best they came up with?” asked a Reddit user, “Sorry, but self-promotion with regard to donations just looks tacky.”
Someone wrote on X: “I’m sure it’s just a total coincidence that this came out right after they moved at least one event because of the locals’ protests.”
