Jeremy Clarkson took a cheeky swipe at Stacey Solomon in the winner’s room after Clarkson’s Farm’s National Television Awards success.
The former Top Gear presenter was overjoyed after his Amazon Prime series picked up the award for Factual Entertainment show last night.
Against him in the category was Gogglebox, The Martin Lewis Money Show and two of Stacey’s programmes – Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe.
Despite Stacey’s doubled odds, Jeremy still took home the gong and thanked everyone as he headed on stage, before apologising that his trousers were falling down due to weight loss.
However, celebrating in the winners’ room afterwards, the presenter and TV personality reportedly said to the press: ‘It’s great that a farming show can beat a house cleaning show,’ according to the Mirror.
He then added that his team ‘worked way harder than anyone else in this room’ during his acceptance speech.

It came just hours after Stacey hit out at the ‘ludicrous’ decision to have both of her shows put in the same category.
Speaking on Magic Radio, Stacey said: ‘They’ve put Sort Your Life Out and Stacey & Joe in the same blummin’ category for some reason.
‘We’re up against each other which is absolutely ludicrous! But you know what I’m so grateful to just be going, it’s so nice to be shortlisted and nominated knowing that it’s a public vote.’
Elsewhere in the awards show last night, Gary Lineker broke Ant McPartlin and Declan Donnelly’s 23-year winning streak for the best presenter award.
In his acceptance speech, he seemed to reference the backlash he faced for speaking out about the Israel-Palestine conflict.
He said: ‘It’s not lost on me why I’ve won this award…I think perhaps it demonstrates that it’s okay to sometimes use our platform to speak up on behalf of those who have no voice. So thank you, it means the world.’

Viewers also slammed the vote that saw Molly-Mae Hague take home the best authored documentary award.
Many argued that the 26-year-old Love Island star should not have been in the same category as someone like Rob Burrow, who made his last documentary before motor neurone disease took his life.
Elsewhere in the category, Strictly Come Dancing pro Amy Dowden’s documentary Strictly Amy: Cancer and Me, which followed her journey after her 2023 breast cancer diagnosis, received a nomination.
Flintoff – following Freddie Flintoff’s cricket career and recovery from his near-fatal Top Gear crash in 2022 – also lost out on the gong.
