Students waking up to A-level results day 2025, please do not panic: this is your annual reminder that Jeremy Clarkson’s results weren’t what he was hoping for… and look at him now.
Every year for over a decade, the former Top Gear star, 65, has shared his own A-level results with a humble brag about how his grades haven’t prevented him from getting to where he is now.
Like the Christmas Day King’s speech, people have come to expect it at the same time every year, with 2025 marking the 11th anniversary of this fun tradition.
Last year, Jeremy wrote about how his pub, The Farmer’s Dog, was imagined despite disappointing A-level results.
This year, he wrote: ‘If your A level results are disappointing, don’t worry. I got a C and two Us and here I am today, installing lights for a helicopter landing pad in my garden.’

The Clarkson’s Farm star’s latest X post on the topic has caused more of a stir than usual, with many wondering whether he really is getting a helipad on Diddly Squat, and what the council would make of it if he did.
Others noted his consistency in taking an opportunity for a gag each A-level results day.
‘Was patiently waiting for this…’ said X user Daniel Kempe, while Chris Da Glorias said: ‘Like clock work! But good message!’
@leilawillz added: ‘another year goes by that I’m reminded time is rapid.’
The TV star tweets annually about the C and two Us he says he received but in case you haven’t kept up with the Clarkson’s Farm star’s annual tradition, we’ve rounded up the famous tweets…
