Jessie J has been rushed back to hospital weeks after her breast cancer surgery, suffering from an infection and fluid on her lungs.
Last month, the Bang Bang hitmaker shared that her cancer had not spread after a shock early diagnosis halted her return to the spotlight.
However, she’s now revealed she’s ‘finding it hard to breathe’ as she’s returned to the same ward she was in after her surgery.
‘How I spent the last 24 hours,’ Jessie — real name Jessica Ellen Cornish — wrote as she posted a picture of her arm with a canula in on her Instagram story.
‘6 weeks post surgery and I was back in the same ward I was after my surgery. Not expected or planned,’ she continued.
The 37-year-old singer was last seen giving an emotional goodbye to her Los Angeles home, where she lived with partner, professional basketball player Chanan Colman, for over a decade.

Jessie continued: ‘I had and still have symptoms that pointed towards a blood clot on the lung. IT IS NOT A BLOOD CLOT THANK GOD.
‘They ran a lot tests, which ended up showing I have an infection (still trying to figure out what) and a little fluid on my lungs.
‘Finding it hard to breathe in, but I discharged myself last night (I hate being in hospital) and will continue the investigation as an outpatient.’
In her next post, Jessie added that she knows her decision to leave hospital might not go down well with others who have gone through similar things.
‘That’s ok,’ she said. ‘But I know for me the true hard journey of this whole thing, physically, was the day I went into surgery.’
Jessie admitted changing her plans for her career relaunch and ‘being unable to be the mother I usually am’ had been ‘frustrating’.

She added that getting the ‘all clear’ on her cancer was ‘incredible’ but didn’t speed up her recovery or make it ‘any easier’.
In a final post, the Domino hitmaker added that this was was a reminder ‘to slow tf down’, which has been ‘a hard reality to accept’.
In June, Jessie underwent a mastectomy, which the Price Tag icon previously joked had left her with ‘wonky boobs.
‘I am finding the strength in knowing that all can be adjusted to align with a slower pace,’ she continued, adding this was her body telling her to ‘sit down’.
