Jessie J has revealed that she is going to have to postpone (and cancel) part of her upcoming tour, as she shares a heath update with followers.
In June, the singer, 37, revealed she’d been diagnosed with ‘early breast cancer’ a few months earlier.
At the time, Jessie – real name Jessica Ellen Cornish – said she was set to ‘disappear’ for a bit to undergo a mastectomy.
She had planned to go on tour soon, but has now revealed that this will not be possible as it will conflict with a second surgery she has scheduled.
The star revealed the news on social media in a two-minute-long video.
Addressing the camera directly, she said: So as some of you may know, I just had breast cancer surgery eight weeks ago. Some of you may not, so that’s one thing.
‘The second thing is is, unfortunately, I have to have a second surgery, nothing too serious, but it has to be done before the end of the year, and unfortunately, that falls right in the middle of a tour that I had booked. So I’m living in the moment. I’m embracing the moment, and I’m flowing with the vibes. So that is what it is, and I’m sorry.
‘I feel frustrated and sad, but also it is what it is, and I need to be better. I need to be healed, and I know this is the right decision to make, so I’m postponing the tour till next year.’

She also announced that as well as postponing her tour, she’d be cancelling the US leg entirely – for now.
‘Here comes the bad news. I haven’t been able to finesse the US dates yet, so unfortunately, that will be cancelled. But I’m spending all my time trying to find time where we can get the venues to make sense again, in a slab of time next year.
And obviously, I already had things that were booked in next year. There are other tours. There’s other things happening. You know, no one knew this was going to happen. So please bear with us for the US tour.
She added that she had to be ‘realistic’ but her fans knew how keen she was to go.

Softening the blow, she added that new music was coming and apologised once again, reminding her fans that Believe in Magic is out tomorrow.
‘I’m trying to do my best. I’m trying to compartmentalise all the different things that are happening in my life and where I have to give the energy, but I have to heal. So forgive me. I’m sorry this sucks, but I know you guys probably knew this was coming.
‘So yes, April 2026 I’ll be back out on the road for the UK and European shows, and the US dates will be announced as soon as we can find time.’
