AUGUSTA, Ga. (WJBF)- The annual Spooky to be Hungry Drive is coming up in October.
This drive unites neighbors, co-workers, schools, and local businesses together to “scare away hunger”
But Golden harvest is in need of spooky captains.
Captains encourage friendly competition and find creative ways to raise funds and awareness.
And these captains are the heart of the effort.
“There’s no limit to as many people that want to come on board. We need captains for neighborhoods, captains for businesses, captains for organizations and captains for school. And we need captains in Augusta, in Richmond County, Columbia County and Aiken Counties,” said Doressa Hawes, director of corporate voluntarism.
The drive starts October 1st, click here for more information.
