It looks as though JoJo Siwa and Chris Hughes are still very much going strong after their romance unexpectedly blossomed on Big Brother earlier this year.

The Dance Moms star, 22, and the former Love Island contestant, 32, grew close over the course of the ITV reality show – a relationship which they initially insisted was merely platonic, but confirmed was romantic on exiting the show.

Having recently revealed they’ve talked about starting a family together due to the CBB house ‘accelerating’ their relationship, the pair put on a loved up display at the recent Dancers Against Cancers 2025 Gala of the Stars in Los Angeles.

JoJo, wearing a black ruffled dress with a pearl-studded neckline, and racing pundit Chris, sporting a brown and white polka-dot shirt, kissed and held hands on the red carpet at the event.

They giggled into each other’s cheeks and turned to face the camera, with JoJo’s hand perched lovingly on his stomach.

At the charity event, Chris presented JoJo with a humanitarian award and shared some incredibly touching words on stage, even tearing up at one point while describing her.

‘You’ve embraced authenticity, your identity, your voice, your values, you’ve told countless young people to show up, be seen and believe that you matter.

‘You’ve taught the world that kindness isn’t soft, it’s courageous,’ he said, his words breaking up with emotion, continuing: ‘On a personal note, I’m very grateful for the way… I’m getting a bit emotional… But the way you’ve included me in your life has been very special.

‘I’ve watched how you balance the lights, camera and action with quiet moments of genuine care. Your generosity extends outwards but you always make space for the people you love. You inspire me everyday to be better, to give more, and to love hard.’

This public display of affection isn’t anything new for the couple as even when they were friends in the CBB house, they would cuddle in bed often.

The fall out from their relationship was epic, with JoJo’s girlfriend on the outside taking to social media and describing her ‘humiliation’ over the situation, after famously getting dumped by the TV star at the CBB wrap party.

JoJo later hit back, saying she didn’t ‘intend’ for the situation to escalate like it did, saying in a joint appearance with Chris on This Morning: ‘I’ll be honest, that was not a plan, that was not an intention, that was not supposed to happen like that.’

Since leaving the house, Chris and JoJo’s relationship has only intensified.

‘It blows my mind that 30 days ago, I would have never even imagined that I’d be friends with Chris Hughes,’ JoJo said in an interview with Billboard in June.

‘Like that is the weirdest thing,’ she continued. ‘Much less be one of the closest people to me now in my life, who I would die for, you know what I mean?’

Speaking on Heart’s No Filter channel last month, JoJo was asked about having children with Chris and admitted: ‘I pester him about it, we pester each other about it.’

She continued: ‘The thing about Christopher and I is how we met, it accelerates your relationship like no other, right?

‘Just on a friendship dynamic and then all of a sudden we realised, clearly we like each other more than friends here, a lot more than friends.

‘I think we have a beautiful future ahead and I think it’s very fast and it’s very quick, but it feels so right. I can’t explain it, but we have very fun, fun, fun things ahead of us that I’m looking forward to.’

JoJo added: ‘It’s everything I think anybody wants in life, is to feel this way and then to be treated this way and then to make a family this way and have your own little family this way.

‘Our families get along with each other and so it’s like we’re like one big family. It’s gorgeous.’

But while JoJo was quicker to tell all about their relationship in interviews, Chris appears equally smitten.

Speaking to The Sun, he admitted: ‘I’d love to marry her. I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you I run through scenarios of our wedding day … We’d have a proper English wedding and I can imagine her in a full wedding dress.’

And Chris even revealed that they’ve spoken about wanting to raise a family together.

‘We both want kids,’ he added. ‘We come from loving families. My mum loves her. She’s my best friend. I love that she’s the person I have to do nothing with and still have the best time. That’s everything to me.’

Inside Chris Hughes and JoJo Siwa romance

Chris and JoJo – who have a ten-year age gap – started dating after leaving the Celebrity Big Brother house in April 2025.

They confirmed their romance in June.

‘People can see our chemistry, and they got to see it develop. I think everyone’s just curious, and I can’t blame them,’ JoJo said in an interview with The Guardian.

After being asked if her relationship with Chris was ‘platonic or romantic’, JoJo was ‘silent for a long time staring down at the floor but was smiling ear to ear’.

‘It’s not platonic anymore, and it’s been a beautiful development, a beautiful connection, and I’m absolutely head over heels for him and he’s the same way,’ she shared.

In the interview JoJo again spoke about identifying as queer, which she said best ‘encompasses how I am, and who I am’, adding: ‘You can’t help who you love.’

While the pair have long term plans for their relationship, there is one issue: JoJo’s life and family are in the US, while Chris lives in the UK. The happy couple still appear to live in their respective homes, and are navigating a long distance relationship.

While JoJo said in June she would be spending ‘a lot more time’ in the UK, according to Manchester Evening News she’s recently warmed up to the idea of a more permanent move.

The publication report that JoJo said on the Capital Evening Show with Jimmy Hill when asked about a possible relocation: ‘I mean, I feel like I’m going to be with a little Brit for the rest of my life so I’m sure eventually we will have a bit of dual.’

She then added: ‘I love the thought of one day my kids playing English sports. I have fallen in love with cricket, I love cricket!’
