Judge links 2 for burning a woman alive in CdMx

Eddy “N” was identified by the CdMx Prosecutor’s Office as the person responsible for starting a fire that caused the death of a woman in the Gustavo A. Madero Mayor’s Office, while Eddy “N” supposedly helped him escape.

Mexico City, October 25 (However).- The Attorney General’s Office of the Mexico City (FGJ-CdMx) reported that two subjects identified as alleged responsible of burn a woman alive in the Mayor Gustavo A. Madero were linked to proceedings by a Judge, for the crime of feminicide.

The agency detailed in a statement that the judicial authority imposed the measure of prison preventive to both defendants, identified as Hugo “N“, alias “He Empanadas“, y Eddy “N“, so they will remain imprisoned in a prison in the capital. In addition, a period of four months was established for the closure of the complementary investigation.

Both subjects were identified by the authorities as those allegedly responsible for the feminicide of a woman who was burned alive inside her house, located in the Defensores de la República neighborhood of the Gustavo A. Madero Mayor’s Office; The events occurred on October 16.

According to the CdMx Prosecutor’s Office, Eddy “N”, who was arrested on October 22, is allegedly responsible for starting the fire at the home of the victim, who died due to the burns suffered. On the other hand, Hugo “N”, arrested on October 21, allegedly helped the subjects who set fire to the building escape, who fled aboard a taxi.

The capital’s Citizen Security Secretariat (SSC-CdMx) reported that on October 16, subjects entered the home of a woman, located in the Gustavo A. Madero Mayor’s Office, doused her with gasoline and set her on fire, and later fled the scene.

Finally, the capital authorities stressed that both subjects are considered innocent and will be treated as such during all stages of the process, until a judicial authority declares them guilty.
