With the commitment to promote micro, small and medium-sized businesses (MSMEs), the governor Julio Menchaca Salazar led the delivery of financial support from the “Hidalgo con Potencial” program 2025 to 285 beneficiaries from 50 municipalities of the entity.
“It is a fundamental element of this administration to use the resources of the Wellness programs to elevate the dignity of people’s lives. There are those who criticize us because they think that money is being given away: Support is granted without any conditionscomplying with the requirements so that economic activity can be activated,” said the state representative.

In that sense, he explained that this program represents an investment of more than 14 million pesosdistributed between 285 beneficiaries who will receive 50 thousand pesos to strengthen their businesses, which are also complemented with other support actions from the state government, such as training, networking and simplification of procedures.
Likewise, given the emergency that is registered in the northern area of the entity, derived from the torrential rainsMenchaca Salazar highlighted that among the 285 projects are 39 MSMEs from 12 municipalities affectedso the The support provided will be used to repair premises or recover merchandise and products.

In this regard, Alma Antonio Gumecindo, beneficiary of the community of Santa Mónica, Tenango de Doria, thanked the help and trust that the state administration provides to those who start their own business and seek to generate more opportunities in their municipality. In his case, he announced that he will acquire machinery to promote a project focused on the creation of tenangos and embroidery.
