Kaizer Chiefs have abandoned a move for Elias Mokwana and put all their eggs in another intriguing basket.

Kaizer Chiefs walk away from Mokwana deal, Appollis back on the table
In their search for a prolific wide man, Chiefs have reportedly reignited their interest in Polokwane and Bafana star Oswin Appollis. The 23-year-old was in action for South Africa in a 0-0 draw against Tanzania.
“If you were talking about Appollis, I could have agreed with you. It’s also an open secret that Chiefs are interested in him. The negotiations are believed to also be at an advanced stage as there are a few logistics they are working on, but not Elias Mokwana,” an insider told Soccer Laduma.

Monyane to Chiefs?
SAFootClassics on X believes that Orlando Pirates right-back Thabiso Monyane has been offered to Kaizer Chiefs. It’s not the most far-fetched rumour we’ve ever heard. Pirates already have several players in that position, with Deano van Rooyen and Bandile Shandu currently vying for the role.
Would Appollis be an ideal signing for Kaizer Chiefs?
