There are new players coming to Kaizer Chiefs for next season as Amakhosi look to challenge in the Betway Premiership and the CAF Confederation Cup.
Some of the new players to be announced include former Orlando Pirates defenders Paseka Mako and Thabiso Monyane.
According to Junior Khanye, a former Kaizer Chiefs winger and popular YouTuber, Amakhosi made the wrong calls in Mako and Monyane.

“I was surprised when I heard that Monyane had been released by Pirates. They have invested a lot in him from their development and for them to let him go just like that I don’t understand,” Khanye told Soccer Laduma.

“Yes, he was not playing regularly but there are players like Thabiso Lebitso who just played a few games and got injured. Why keep Lebitso and release Monyane? PERCY TAU TO KAIZER CHIEFS NOT SUPPORTED
In case you’ve missed it. Former Mamelodi Sundowns superstar Percy Tau is home after leaving Qatar SC in May, while Kaizer Chiefs are in the market for experienced attackers.
The Emalahleni-born player made only 10 appearances in the Qatar Stars League, which included four assists.
It’s no secret that Kaizer Chiefs are actively scanning the market for experienced forwards, especially a superbly experienced player like Percy Tau, who has won CAF Champions League titles with teams like Mamelodi Sundowns and Al Ahly, while also fetching an AFCON bronze medal with Bafana Bafana.
“In the past few seasons Chiefs have not been doing well despite winning a trophy last season and they need players who will help them change the team’s fortunes,” Mphela told Soccer Laduma.
