Kaizer Chiefs promise more signings before window closes

Kaizer Chiefs have confirmed that they plan to bolster their squad even further before the transfer window slams shut in September. Marketing and Commercial Director Jessica Motaung made it clear that Amakhosi intend to continue their aggressive recruitment drive in a bid to return to the summit of South African football.

“We’re ready for combat and certainly look to sign even more,” Motaung confidently told SABC News, making it clear that the club’s ambitions remain sky-high.

These additions signal the club’s intent to build a competitive squad under new head coach Nasreddine Nabi. Yet Motaung insists more are on the way.

“With the window open till September, I think supporters can watch this space and know that we’ll have more players that we’ll be signing,” she said, urging fans to stay alert for upcoming announcements.

Youth shining on Dutch tour boosts optimism

Motaung also praised the club’s DStv Diski Challenge youngsters, who recently showcased their talent during the pre-season tour in the Netherlands. She highlighted their commitment and alignment with the club’s values and playing philosophy.

“We’re also excited with some of our youth players we showcased in the pre-season, who showed that they understand the Chiefs culture, the Chiefs way of doing things,” she emphasised.

“So, we’re very excited about that.”
