Kaizer Chiefs are set to release a few more players before the end of the transfer window.
Kaizer Chiefs have released SEVEN players so far.
Now, Amakhosi have reportedly decided on their EIGHTH departure.
CHIEFS TO RELEASE R6 MILLION MIDFIELDER
Edson Castillo is not in Nasreddine Nabi’s plans for this season.
“It’s been said head coach Nasreddine Nabi could be open to his [Castillo’s] potential exit, allowing the club to be more flexible in the market as they look to lure new foreign recruits to bolster the squad for the upcoming season,” the report read on iDiskiTimes.
Meaning, Castillo is expected to become Amakhosi’s latest player exit. He is valued at over R6 million, according to Transfermarkt.
Castillo is set to join Ranga Chivaviro, Njabulo Blom, Sabelo Radebe, Edmilson Dove, Mduduzi Mdantsane, Yusuf Maart and Bongani Sam out of Chiefs.
NEW-LOOK AMAKHOSI TAKING SHAPE
Chiefs have a new captain set to lead them into the new era.
Meanwhile, Amakhosi were spotted with a new coach on the sidelines. Interestingly, Chiefs management are unhappy over Nasreddine Nabi and they are set to hold key talks over his future – here is the latest.
Furthermore, Chiefs have completed 18 deals. Amakhosi have 10 new players – SIX signings and FOUR players have been promoted. With these THREE players from PSL rivals close to signing for Chiefs.
However, what goes up must come down. So, with more signings lined up, their will be more departures.
These Chiefs players are heading out of Naturena.
WHO SHOULD NABI SIGN TO CHIEFS TO REPLACE CASTILLO? SHOULD HE BE LOANED OUT OR SOLD PERMENANTLY?
